Reverend Dawne Phillips - Couts 60+ Ministries

Reverend Dawne Phillips is a retired United Methodist clergywoman who has served in the former Central Texas Conference (now Horizon Texas Conference) as a local church missions pastor and as Director of Missions for the former Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.  As an ordained Deacon, Dawne's passion has been serving as a voice for sharing the love of Jesus within and outside the walls of the church and expanding the church's prophetic call to service and justice in her local community and through mission teamns to Kenya, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Guatemala, Russia, and a number of US locations.  In retirement, she loves connecting with others to study scripture, read, travel and nurture her family and community.  Dawne and husband Rodney have a blended family with seven children, their spouses, and nineteen grandchildren.  She's always open for a cup of coffee and meaningful conversation and faithful living as a follower of Jesus in a diverse and conflicted world.  At Couts UMC, Dawne coordinates our 60+ Ministry encouraging senior adults to dive deeper into their faith, service and connection.
