Reverend Holly Dittrich - Senior Pastor

Pastor Holly Dittrich is a lifelong United Methodist who grew up in the Centeral Texas Conference in Stephenville and Granbury.  She attended
Southwestern University in Georgetown, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study and Language Development.  Before entering ministry, she began  her professional career as an elementary school teacher in Allen and Pflugerville ISDs.

Sensing God's call to ministry, Holly attended Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, graduating in 2002 with a Master of Divinity degree.  While in Georgia, she served as the Director Children's Ministry at W.R. Cannon United Methodist Church in Snellville before returning to Texas to continue ministry at First UMC Hurst.  She later spent four years serving as a hospital chaplain at Children's Medical Center in Dallas and Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, offering pastoral care to children and families.  She also served as an interim pastor at Faith UMC in Fort Worth and most recently as Executive Pastor at First UMC Hurst before being appointed to Couts UMC in July 2022.

Holly was ordained as a Deacon in Full Connection in 2005 but later discerned an evolving call, transitioning to ordination as an Elder in 2012.  Throughout her ministry she has remained passionate about helping people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ encouraging them to discover and use their strengths and gifts in service to God and their neighbors.

Holly and her husband, Rob, have a wonderful child who brings them deep joy.  In their free time, they love playing board games and spending time outdoors -hiking, gardening, porch sitting, and reading.
