Angel Moore - Director of Couts Christian Academy

Angel Moore was born and raised in East Texas.  She is a dedicated mother of two adult children, two beautiful granddaughters and one grandson.  A dedicated wife to her very special husband of 40 years, who allowed her to see the world and travel with him throughout his 21 years of service in the military.  This is where Angel's childcare career began.  She has dedicated herself to children and families for over 37 years.

Angel's first experience working in a licensed childcare facility began in Killeen, Texas where they were stationed for many years.  When they began their family, she wanted to be a stay at home mom with her first child, so during her 9 months of preparing to be a first time mother she attended trainings through the military and met the requirements to open her own childcare facility on Fort Hood as a licensed in home facility for military families; after having her first-born child until her husband received orders 2 years later for Germany.  Angel realized that she had a passion for children and pursued a career in this field from that point.  She worked towards her Child Development Associates (CDA), as well as, received enought training hours to receive a non-expiring Directors License for the State.  She has worked in many parts of the world and served in many aspects during her childcare career:  Teacher, Assistant Director, Parent Liaison and Director just to mention a few.  She continues to work with children and their families and has done so until this day.  Angel LOVES every moment of what she does.

In her private time, Angel enjoys spending time with her beautiful family, serving in her church, traveling to watch her sweet daughter coach collegiate basketball, traveling with her wonderful husband and just enjoying life and being thankful for each and every day, for she is a 12-year cancer SURVIVOR and looks forward to many more years.  She gives GOD the GLORY.
